CNPC JICHAI has undertaken a number of national key R&D projects and owns 27 national and industrial standard-setting rights and 45 national patents. National SAC/TC372 standard committee, SAC/TC177WG2 working group, and SAC/TC96 working department are all located in JICHAI.

As CNPC power equipment test base, JICHAI power equipment research institute is always committed to the philosophy of “technology leadership” and has achieved breakthroughs in key technologies such as internal combustion engine ECU and SCR. The overall three-dimensional and digital prototype design in CNPC JICHAI is conducted based on the advanced computer workstations and design software to improve product intelligence and reliability and reduce its emissions and noise. The new product test center has 16 test benches equipped with advanced test equipment and common-rail fuel injection systems to guarantee parts reliability, improve airway performance. It can test various performance indicators ranging from a single-cylinder engine to 6000 kW internal combustion engines.
